Man accused of battering pregnant Shiloh woman

SHILOH, IL (KPLR) – The St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged a 27-year-old man for allegedly attacking a pregnant woman earlier this month.

According to Det. George Fender, a spokesman for the Shiloh Police Department, the incident is said to have happened Saturday, April 18 in the 100 block of Yorkport Drive. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Two days later, the state’s attorney issued a warrant charging Kenny Stacker with three counts of aggravated battery of a pregnant person. Stacker remains jailed on $40,000 bond.

Police did not say if there was any connection between Stacker and the victim.
