Teenage girl stabbed outside of Starbucks in Midtown

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- St. Louis City Police are investigating a stabbing that took place late Sunday night near the campus of Saint Louis University. Police say a young woman was stabbed around 9p.m. outside of the Starbucks on south Grand at Forest Park Avenue. The victim was standing with others outside of Starbucks when a man approached them. He was allegedly screaming and trying to get inside of the coffee shop.

The victim, who is a juvenile was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not life-threatening. Her name and age have not been released.

A man in his mid-thirties was arrested.
