Police investigating knife attack at a MetroLink platform

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – A St. Louis woman is recovering after being attacked at the Grand MetroLink Sunday night. Police say a woman got into a verbal confrontation with a man who cut her neck with a knife. The man chased the woman down Grand. When she ran into a store, employees locked the door then called 911.

Investigators say the man resisted arrest before he was taken into custody.

Police recovered a knife. The man is facing assault charges. The woman's injuries are not life threatening.
