Rate of new jobs drops, unemployment rate unchanged

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (KTVI) - For the last 12 months, the monthly jobs report said at least 200,000 jobs had been added to the economy. But this month, the streak has been broken as the March job report states only 125,000 jobs had been added. Despite this drop in the addition of jobs, the unemployment rate still remains at 5.5 percent.
