1 dead, 5 injured in 3 separate double shootings across St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)- Detectives are investigating after three separate double shootings left one person dead and five people injured Thursday across St. Louis. The shootings happened in a span of four and a half hours Thursday in north St. Louis. Around 8:30p.m., investigators found a man in his 30`s on Cates Avenue who had been shot multiple times in the chest. Then a short distance away, cops discovered another man shot in the chest on Kingshighway Boulevard. He was conscious and breathing at the scene. Police say that man is also in his 30`s.

A couple of hours earlier around 6:20p.m., police rushed to a shooting on Queens. They found two men both with serious gunshot wounds. One of the victims is in critical condition. The other is critical and unstable. Although both men were alive, homicide detectives were called in on that case because of the seriousness of the injuries.

Around 4p.m., police responded another double shooting at Page near Shawmut. In that case, one male victim was shot in both of his arms and in his back. The other victim, also a man, was hit in one of his arms. Both of those people are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made in any of theses cases.

Police haven`t released names in any of the cases including the homicide. They do not have information connecting any of the three shootings.
