Triple shooting in Bevo neighborhood leaves two dead

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a triple shooting in the Bevo neighborhood that left two dead.

According to Schron Jackson, a police spokeswoman, the shooting took place in the 4400 block of Itaska Street.

Two people, a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. The third shooting victim, a woman, was rushed to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, police believe the victims are a man and his two daughters. The residence is described as a boarding house.

The investigation is ongoing. Police suspect one of the victim’s ex-boyfriends may be the shooter, but did not provide a description.
