DUBAI - An eagle with a camera on its back has flown from the top of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.

An imperial eagle named Darshan swooped more than 2,700 feet down to its trainer on the ground. The organizers of the event,  Freedom Conservation, said they staged it to highlight the plight of the endangered bird of prey.

The flight was streamed live on BBC News and is being called the highest-ever recorded bird flight from a man-made structure.
