Police discover rolling meth lab during routine traffic stop in Overland

OVERLAND, MO (KTVI)- Police discovered a rolling meth lab during a routine traffic stop Thursday morning in Overland. Around 6a.m., authorities pulled over a van near the intersection of Lackland Avenue at Northfield. The van was filled with meth making materials. At least one person has been arrested.

Members of the St. Louis County Drug Task Force and Community Fire Protection District were called to the scene for safety reasons. They handled the removal of the dangerous materials used to make meth.

The materials and van were removed from the area without incident.
