University City woman attacked while out walking

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KPLR) - University City police are looking for a man who attacked a woman last night while she was walking home.  It all happened at Trinity and Washington in University City. According to police the woman was walking home at around 8 pm Tuesday night when she was pulled into a driveway by a man who displayed a knife.  The suspect also tried to force the woman to perform sex acts. At that point the victim fought back and was able to escape and call police from a nearby phone.

Investigators are looking for a black male between 20 and 25- years-old about 5 foot 8 with a slim build. He was also last seen wearing a green and blue coat and light colored pants. Police say they are working on leads. As for the victim she was shaken but not injured. If you have any information please call the University City Bureau of Investigations.
