ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – A potent cold front continues to drifting southward.  While the St. Louis metro area received less than 1" of snow, as much as 2" to 4" is expected for southern counties in the News 11 and FOX 2 viewing area.  Anne Elise Parks traveled to near Red Bud Illinois which as seen a coating of snow and Chris Higgins is in our far southern counties where several inches of snow has fallen and continues to accumulate.  Metro St. Louis will see a few flurries linger into the evening with overnight lows near 10.  Thursday we will see the clouds erode and highs in the mid 20’s.

Great news for the weekend, with sunshine and highs in the 50’s by Saturday afternoon and near 60 early next week.
