Want to work in baseball? The Cards are looking for two math whizzes

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Ever watch the movie Moneyball and think, “I could do that!”  Well, the St. Louis Cardinals are looking for two talented people to help mine statistics to, “provide timely recommendations to decision makers.”  The team is searching for a Baseball Development analyst and developer.

Working for the St. Louis Cardinals is a dream come true for most people. But, these jobs require a high degree of math skills.  So, that may be a deal breaker for some.  The job postings on BaseballProspectus.com require candidates to have degrees in statistics and mathematics or computer science.  They are looking for candidates with a passion for baseball and proficiency with statistical programming environments.
