ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - FOX2 is your Home of the Rams.

The Rams and SSM Health are teaming up to kick cancer.

144 employees at the five SSM Hospitals pledged money to help fight cancer.

For each pledge the employee established, their names got tossed into in the target zone. The idea is for Rams punter Johnny Hekker to kick a football and whatever name the football lands on wins a special prize.

The catch, Hekker has to punt the football off of St. Mary's 6 story hospital during rush hour.

You may remember his roof-top punting shenanigans from his dude perfect video last summer. That's why SSM recruited those kicking skills to award the winner of this year`s roof-tacular challenge.

This is the first time SSM offered this employee challenge and they were expecting anywhere from 100-150 pledges, but they ended up getting over 400 hundred pledges according to Dan Buck with SSM Healthcare.

The winner was Pam Lesser, Director of SSM at St. Mary`s.

Pam won more than $2,000 for a shopping spree at the Taubman Outlet and SSM was a winner too.

They raised nearly $15,000 in this challenge that put them over $100,000 mark for this year`s kick cancer campaign.
