ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Do you know where your kids are? If you don’t, it could cost you.

St. Louis City Police are warning adults who have minors roaming the streets, to keep them home or face a day in court.  Police are issuing summonses more often in hopes of cutting down on teenage crime.

Relatives of the teens involved in a shooting on Saturday, in which a 16 year old was shot in the foot, have received a court summons.

Police say if parents do not know where  their children are doing or what theyre doing,  they are
in violation of a child welfare ordinance.
