Mark Hamill to play The Trickster again in CW’s ‘The Flash’

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The CW superhero drama “The Flash,” has cast Mark Hamill in his old villain role as James Jesse aka ‘The Trickster’.  He also played the  Trickster in the CBS “Flash” series from the 90s.

According to HitFix, Hamill’s character has a new twist.  He is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence.  The infamous villain helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to deflect the the doings of a copycat Trickster.

“The Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, “Having Mark reprise his role as The Trickster was on our original wish list when we were planning our version of The Flash.  Christmas and Chanukah came early for us this year when he said yes!  We are beyond humbled and excited to have him joining us for another round of deadly trickery!”
Hamill will appear in the season’s 17th episode in 2015.
