St. Louisans turning to faith to heal wounds opened in Ferguson

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Candle light vigils and church services are offering a sense of peace during this time of need.

People with I spoke with are sad, angry and still confused about Monday night's unrest  But St. Lousians are resilient and they are hoping we can come together and unite and find a solution.

It was a long night for many inducing the pastor of the gathering at a church located off McCausland.  He knew he was going to have special services Tuesday night after what he and the nation saw Monday night.  SLU held a candle light vigil, Elliot Chapel in Kirkwood held a peaceful demonstration and the gathering was a refuge for community members to pray and find respite.
