ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) - There may not be any snow on the ground, but that's not keeping MoDot crews from thinking about it. The state of Missouri is conducting a statewide drill today to test current snow plowing procedures. Trucks hit the roads this morning after the rush and finish before this evening's rush hour.  Their main focus is measuring snowplow circuits by driving the routes that have been modified from last winter. MoDot reports that they are fully stocked for salt to treat roadways.  In addition to today's drill, all maintenance employees are completing an annual winters skills training as a refresher course for snow plowing.
