Spokesperson Anne McLaughlin joins us with more.

The Humane Society of Missouri relies on the community to support them in many ways.

The society serves more than 75,000 animals a year and do about 50 industrial size loads of laundry a day between all of our shelters.

It`s also Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month. They are focusing on the lova-bull pit bull with a $50 pit bull adoption special.

All pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Donations can be dropped off any of the three Humane Society of Missouri locations. But, donors can always drop items at the door anytime.
