FERGUSON, MO (KPLR) –Ferguson city leaders are again reaching out to residents to rebuild trust after weeks of unrest and protests following the fatal shooting 18-year-old Michael Brown.
Tuesday night is the second in a series town hall meetings that will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm. One of those meetings will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Hawkesbury Drive and the other at the First Baptist Church of Ferguson on north Florissant Road.
The meetings are only opens to Ferguson residents and the media is not allowed inside. Each meeting focuses on a specific issue; tonight's town hall meeting will address communication to and from Ferguson leadership. The mayor and city council members will be here to speak and to answer questions.
The next Ferguson town hall meeting is scheduled for October 7th and the topic will be addressing diversity and racial tension.
