Thousands attend walk for Light the Night

ST. LOUIS (KPLR) - Thousands of St. Louisans are planning to "Light the Night", during a fundraising walk for the "leukemia and lymphoma society."

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night” is an event to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by blood cancers.  Walkers will walk a one mile route while carrying a lanterns, white for survivors, red for supporters and gold for the memory of loved ones lost.

This year’s goal is to raise $1 million dollars to fund research for a cure to blood cancers.
