(KTVI) – A couple of major retailers are looking to do some major holiday hiring.

FedEx wants to hire more than 50,000 temporary workers this holiday season to help sort and deliver packages.   Growth in online shopping is boosting the company’s profits.

Earlier this week, rival UPS said it plans to hire up to 95,000 seasonal workers.

Kohl’s wants to hire more than 67,000 seasonal workers.  That’s about a third more than last year.
Kohl’s expects to hire an average of 50 associates per store.
