ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - I know we talk a lot about the dangers of texting and driving.   Well apparently there's a new device in the works that could help police stop it.

Around here we're familiar with speed cameras.  Well now there's word one company is creating a device that allows police to be able to detect when someone is texting.

The device can reportedly differentiate between frequencies used to text and frequencies used for a phone call.

I'm curious what kind of reaction people will have when it goes to market.  If drivers would stop texting and driving, the device could stay on a shelf.

I'm JB and that's the way it oughta be.
