ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Trying to keep small neighborhood businesses in business can be tough these days. But one neighborhood is trying to rise to that challenge by doing something special.

What started with 3 businesses in south St. Louis along Hampton between Gravios and Chippewa, has grown to 16 businesses banning together to promote what the neighborhood has to offer. They will be offering specials the first Wednesday of every month to attract new customers by offering discounts.
