Two arrested for downtown armed robbery

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-Two arrests have been made in the case of an armed robbery in downtown St. Louis. Three people were robbed at gunpoint in the 500 block of Locust around 10:00pm Thursday after walking to their car from Ballpark Village. The suspects demanded their cell phones and money.

The victims walked back to the Ballpark Village to report the robbery.

Perry Brown, 18, of East St. Louis, IL, was arrested and has been charged three counts of Robbery 1st and three counts of Armed Criminal Action. He is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

A second juvenile suspect, a 16-year old, was also arrested and is in custody of Juvenile Authorities.

All three cell phones taken in this incident have been recovered.

    Thank you law enforcement for a job well done. The best thing was getting the cell phones back. Can’t replace the pictures that mean the world when you have kids and grand kids.
