ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – Missouri's transportation officials aren't wasting time in trying to figure out the impact of Amendment 7 defeat.

At the Missouri Department of Transportation they will tell you it's a simple function of numbers.  Maintaining the state's roads and bridges cost $485 million dollars a year.  By 2017 they will be more than $150 million short of that figure.

So the question is, where will transportation find additional funding sources?
