Veterans report to Rams Training Camp Thursday

EARTH CITY, MO (KPLR) - The final countdown is on to the beginning of this year's training camp.  Rookies already reported this week and veterans are due in later Thursday morning.  Training camp signs are posted all over the place and lots of people excited to get camp started for this year`s Rams team.

Rookies reported Monday and had practices Tuesday and Wednesday.  There are 11 players in the Rams draft class this year.  Among them are the second overall pick in the draft, offensive tackle Greg Robinson from Auburn, running back Tre Mason also from Auburn and of course Michael Sam from Mizzou, the first openly gay player drafted into the NFL.

Veterans must report by 9 a.m.  The first full squad practice will be Friday.  There will be 14 practices open to the public.  You can visit Rams Park and watch them for free.  The first five will start tomorrow with that opening practice at 3:30 p.m. Gates open 90 minutes before practice starts.  Select players will sign autographs at the end of each practice.  In addition to the practices  there is also an open scrimmage that you can watch at the Edward Jones Dome.

A lot of people are talking about Quinn after his incredible season last year.

The Rams first pre-season game is August 8th at the dome against the Saints.  You can watch that game on FOX 2.
