Parkway School District under goes active shooter training

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – School maybe out for the summer in the Parkway School District, but that doesn’t mean learning has stopped.

Wednesday staff and administrators in the district took park in training on how to handle an active intruder in a school. The training is being held at the Madison Ridge Elementary School over a two day period.

Trainers will be instructing teachers, and staff on methods to protect themselves and students from intruders.
