Denver (KPLR) —  The Cardinals lost to the Colorado Rockies in Denver, 10-5.

Justin Morneau had 6 RBI for Colorado, including a 3-run home run.

Cards starter Shelby Miller left the game after 2 2/3 innings with back tightness. Nick Greenwood (1-1) pitched 1 2/3 innings in relief.

The Rockies snapped a 7-game losing streak.  They had 17 hits. The Cardinals had 11.
