OVERLAND, MO (KPLR) - The Missouri Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of a boxer-mix puppy.

The dead puppy was stuffed into a zipped backpack and tossed into a trash bin behind a vacant house in Overland.

Two of the pup's siblings were also abandoned in the trash bin.

A cleaning company employee found the puppies and notified the Humane Society.

I am sorry to say this is going on all over the U.S, only they are called puppy mills. A dog dies it either stays where it is or the body ends up in a bag in the trash can.

don’t tell me you are shocked, cause pups end up there everyday. Something needs to be done to the people who do this. Maybe we should put them into a small stacked cage, without food or water,in the severe heat and humidity. Then they will know how it feels to be starved, abused and neglected.
