TOWN & COUNTRY, MO (KPLR) – The Major Case Squad has been activated to investigate the robbery and assault of a man at a Town & Country home Friday.

The victim, identified as Thomas R. Ruzicka, 60, had been beaten. He lived alone but had occasional visits from his son. It was the son who found him unconscious Friday morning at about 11:30. He came looking for his dad because he hadn't shown up Friday morning for an appointment.
