Recall: White Rodgers thermostats could cause fire

(KTVI) – Some thermostats are a little too hot to handle.  More than a million of them are being recalled.

The thermostats made by “White Rodgers” are being pulled from store shelved because the batteries can leak and cause a fire.

They cost between $30 and 470 and were sold under many brand names including Comfort Sentry, Emerson, Frigidaire, Maytag, Partners Choice and Westinghouse.
