Documents in AB pay discrimination lawsuit show major differences in severance

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Testimony continued Thursday in a pay discrimination lawsuit against Anheuser-Bush. Documents admitted in evidence show major differences between proposed severance payments for male and female executive officers.

Former Anheuser Busch Vice President of Communications and Consumer Affairs Francine Katz is seeking back pay and damages against the giant brewery. She charges she was unfairly paid. The beer giant insists her pay was linked to the pay of top communication executives at other major firms.

Documents filed with the federal government during the sale of Anheuser Busch to InBev show a range of proposed severance payments from $2.4 million to $859,000.

Francine Katz was second from the bottom at just over one million dollars. She argues her job was undervalued.
