Search for escaped inmate in Bond County, IL

GREENVILLE, IL (KPLR)-The Bond County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an escaped inmate. Andrew J. Walker, 30, of Pierron, IL, was being held on production of methamphetamine charges. He is a white male, 6′ tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts.

Walker escaped through a vent which lead to an outer room where he broke through a drop ceiling and escaped through an egress door. Walker had been checked on routine cell checks and was present on the last check.

The Greenville Police Department and the Illinois State Police are assisting in the search for Walker.
