Kevin Reid sentenced to Life for murder of babysitter and baby

EDWARDSVILLE, IL (KPLR) – Madison County Circuit Judge James Hackett Tuesday sentenced Kevin Reid to life in prison for the murders of Anquiaette “Tweety” Parker, 19, and her 4-year-old cousin Cermen “C.J.” Toney Jr. Both had disappeared on November 6, 2005 that led to a massive search for the two by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Parker at the time was pregnant, and was babysitting her 4-year-old cousin Toney when they disappeared.

Reid was charged with their murders on March 28, 2008, after their bodies were found in a cistern on property owned by Reid.
