STE. GENEVIEVE, MO (KPLR) - A Ste. Genevieve church plans to hold a prayer service Sunday night for two men killed in a mine accident Friday morning. 53-year old John Hahl from Farmington and 29-year-old Chris Rawson from Hillsboro died Friday morning while working in a bucket at the Mississippi Lime Company mine in Ste. Genevieve.

Fire officials say the rock they were mining above them broke away and forced the bucket to the ground, killing the men.

The Ste. Genevieve First Baptist Church will hold the prayer service for the men beginning at 6 pm.
