JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KPLR) – Missouri lawmakers have approved state funds for the troubled Normandy School District. The Missouri House and Senate agreed on an additional two million dollars to help the district get through the rest of the school year.

The district faced bankruptcy because of the costs of transferring students to other districts.

The measure still needs the governor’s signature.
