ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – A dramatic turn of events at the trial of Sean Johnson, the man accused of opening fire on a downtown St. Louis Business College in January of 2013.
The Post-Dispatch is reporting Johnson went against his lawyers wishes, and told the jury he did it.
Johnson originally pleaded “not guilty” to shooting the financial aid director at Stevens Institute of Business and Arts on Washington Avenue.
Greg Elsenrath survived the shooting, and had testified against Johnson.
Johnson was upset his student loans were running out, and he didn’t have enough credits to graduate.
