(WGHP) – A 79-year-old substitute teacher faced an ultimatum from school administrators in New Hampshire: delete students from her Facebook “friends” or be fired.

Carol Thebarge, also known as “Mrs. T”, posted on Facebook explaining what happened. She has worked with school districts for 35 years, and 32 different schools.

She says students see her page as a safe place to go to talk with her and private message her about being bullied or feeling depressed.

She also posted pictures of the students, which she says students loved, but the school officials said was a no-no.
