NORTH ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - St. Louis Police said a man and his young daughter were rushed to the hospital after being shot early Tuesday morning.
Officers said that just after 3:00a.m., a 32-year-old man was driving his 11-year-old daughter home from a restaurant. Police said another car started following the pair.
When the victims reached Norwood Avenue and Lexington Avenue, someone inside that car opened fire, hitting the father and daughter each once in the back.
The man was able to drive a couple of blocks and call police from Norwood Avenue and Ashland Avenue.
Both victims are expected to survive.
Police said they know very little about the suspect. They do not have a license plate number, and they do not have a motive.
