St. Louis Public School forum on low performing schools held Thursday

(KTVI) – St. Louis Public Schools host a community forum Thursday night on a proposal to outsource low-performing schools.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Superintendent Kelvin Adams proposed the idea, which is used in other big city school districts.

Under the plan if individual schools don’t meet specific targets next year non-profit groups would hired to run them.

Thursday’s public forum is from 6-8pm at Vashon High School.
