WASHINGTON, D.C. (KPLR) - Congress is set to vote on a proposal to name the Cottleville Post Office in honor of fallen Marine Lance Corporal Philip Vinnedge.

He and other members of his squad were killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan in 2010.

He had only been in country for 16 days.

Missouri Congresswoman Ann Wagner sponsored the bill to re-name the post office, and spoke in favor of its passage yesterday on the house floor.
