Car trapped under semi trailer slows traffic Friday morning

SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KPLR) – Traffic was backed up for about an hour on Interstates 270 and 55 after a vehicle became trapped under a semi trailer near the Tesson Ferry exit.

The accident happened about 6:45am Friday. The semi came to rest on the shoulder at the Tesson Ferry exit. It is not clear how to car got under the trailer.

Traffic backed up on both I-270 northbound and I-55 northbound for a time.

An ambulance was on the scene, but there is no word on injuries at this time.
