TENINO, WA (KCPQ) – How do you motivate high school students to donate money?

A school student council in Washington state decided to play Justin Bieber’s “Baby” continuously during lunch and passing periods until their fundraising goal was met.

They hoped to raise $500 – but the song motivated generous donations and students raised more than double. The money will be donated to a program to help provide lunches to students at a school in Africa.
