(KTVI) – The funeral is Wednesday afternoon for a 10-year-old Springfield girl who was kidnapped and killed last Tuesday.
Services for Hailey Owens will be at 2 p.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield. Hundreds showed up Tuesday for the visitation of the young girl.
Hailey was abducted in her neighborhood while walking to a friend’s house. Her alleged abductor, Craig Wood, faces murder and kidnapping charges.
Investigators say she did not know Wood.
