ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – One lane of traffic is getting by while Laclede Gas crews repair a gas leak.

St. Louis Police were reportedly trying to reach business owners as crews looked for the source of a possible natural gas leak in the city’s north side.

Around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, St. Louis Firefighters and Laclede Gas technicians started digging up part of eastbound Natural Bridge Avenue near Red Bud Avenue after a reported gas leak in the area.

Firefighters made entry into nearby businesses, to determine if explosive fumes leaked into the buildings.
