ST. LOUIS (KPLR) – St. Louis Fire medics rush to help a driver who crashed into a wall on Interstate-55. But when help arrived, the driver was gone.
St. Louis Police shut down closed two southbound lanes of the highway for about 45 minutes. Around 1:15 a.m. Monday, the car apparently hit the wall just north of the Gasconade exit, went across all lanes of traffic, hit a guardrail and overturned on the other side of the guardrail.
Police are reportedly looking into the possibility the car was stolen.
