SPRINGFIELD, MO (CNN) – Thousands of bikers cruised the streets of Missouri to honor the memory of a murdered 10-year-old.
It was a sea of pink, purple, and leather around Springfield on Sunday afternoon.
More than 2-thousand motorcyclists came together to ride, raise money and show support for the family of Hailey Owens.
Organizers estimate about 5-thousand other showed up to watch the ride and enjoy a free concert and benefit auction.
Hailey’s mom led the procession riding in a black truck decked out with pink and purple accents.
All of the money raised from the event will go to the memorial fund for Hailey Owens.
