St. Louisans rally over Venezuelan student arrest
ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – A rally was held Sunday under the Arch, in support of college students being oppressed and incarcerated for protesting government of Venezuela. Protesters in Venezuela have been calling for the government to improve the failing economy, fight government corruption and violence.
Venezuela has the highest homicide in the world.
A protest on Wednesday in the capital city Caracas left 3 students dead and dozens injured or arrested.
