CHESTERFIELD, MO (KTVI)–A Chesterfield woman is charged with stealing a pure bred Maltese puppy from a Lake St. Louis pet store in November.
Prosecutors say Shelly Hess took the dog from a Petland store worth $1,700.
They say she then drove to the Chicago suburbs of Naperville and Bollingbrook and took a dog from each of those stores.
All three dogs were dropped off at the Lake St. Louis Petland store by unknown man on November 10th.
