26th National Conference on LGBT Equality

(KPLR) – While 2013 was a history making year for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender  community, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is working to make even more progress, especially in the areas of discrimination, ending HIV/AIDS and other issues.

Thousands of LGBT advocates from across the country are arriving in Houston for the 26th National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change.

The conference runs through Sunday. Russell Roybal is the Task Force, Deputy Executive Director. He spoke with Elliot Weiler about the event and the topics covered at the conference.
