(KTVI) -There's a happy ending to a harrowing situation involving a one-year-old boy and his family.

Amber and SARAA Alerts were issued after a car was stolen with the baby inside.  Fortunately, the child was found safe.

Police say the car was stolen just after 8:00pm Monday.  Tristian Readye was reunited with his family members, including his mom, around 10:30pm Monday in south St. Louis.

Little Tristian was found unharmed in his mother's yellow 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo at Illinois and Broadway, just a short time after alerts were issued.  The car had been abandoned.

St. Louis County Police say it started when Tristian's mother went into the Florissant Dairy and left the car running with Tristian still in his car seat.  That's when someone stole the car.

It didn't take long at all for police to find the car after the alerts was issued.

At this point, police have no information on possible suspects.
